Our Story

Having successfully run an English bar in Spain that specializes in English breakfasts and roast dinners, it quickly became apparent that the Valencia region had a limited supply of English produce. This gap in availability inspired us to take action.

We began introducing a selection of tinned foods and sweets from the UK into our bar. This initiative transformed a small section of our establishment into a dedicated corner for English supermarket products. We named it "Kez's Corner," reflecting our commitment to providing a taste of home for expats and locals alike.

Kez's Corner not only offers beloved British staples but also creates a sense of nostalgia for our patrons. Whether it's classic baked beans, luxury biscuits, or comforting sweets, this corner has become a go-to spot for those seeking familiar flavors. With Kez's Corner, we bridge the culinary gap between England and Spain, allowing customers to enjoy a piece of British culture right in the heart of Valencia.

Hester produces fresh, organic produce from local farmers in New York. Even our spices are fresh. Just because pickling is a preservation process doesn’t mean you can use dried-up thyme or week-old asparagus that’s already a little spongy.

We want to give our customers crisp, crunchy and delicious pickled vegetables and fruits. Most of all, we want to expand people’s palates and prove that pickles don’t always come in a green or red variety.
